Five Surprising Features of the 2018 Toyota CamrySep 28th, 2017
When the 2018 Toyota Camry was unveiled, everyone was blown away by the latest iteration of the most popular midsize sedan on the road. The car is sleeker, more aggressive and, simply put, better than ever.
Here are five features of the 2018 Toyota Camry that have us tickled pink:
It’s the very first thing you notice when looking at the 2018 Camry, and it is good. Naysayers in the past might have said that the Camry was dull and boring to look at, but this simply isn’t true anymore. The 2018 Camry looks dynamic from every angle. Its front has been lowered—which comes with the added benefit of increasing the car’s aerodynamics—there are style lines on the side and even available quad-tip exhaust (a first on the Camry!). Regardless of where you look at it from, the 2018 Camry just looks stunning.
When designing the 2018 Camry, Toyota was looking to add a bit of punch to the popular sedan. And just a quick look at the latest model is enough to convince you that the manufacturer’s designers have created a dynamic-looking car. A shining example of just what they’ve achieved is the Camry XSE, and we are showcasing a beautiful one today. New TNGA Architecture:
One of the most impressive features of the 2018 Toyota Camry is hidden underneath its body: Toyota’s most advanced architecture to date, known as the TNGA, which was unveiled in the latest Toyota Prius and has since seen further use in the C-HR. The flexible and universal frame makes for lighter, longer and, frankly, better driving.
Granted, this is largely a matter of personal tastes, but the available bright red leather interior really makes the car stand out. Together with the sports seats and stylized dashboard, this interior gives the 2018 Camry a sporty vibe that is unmatched in the industry.
Double-Wishbone Rear Suspension:
This feature might not sound like it is a big deal, but consider this: a few short years ago, a double-wishbone rear suspension was reserved for high-performance sports cars. In the 2018 Camry, it helps not only enhance its driving dynamics but will also benefit passengers’ comfort on bumpy roads.
Long List of Standard Equipment:
Again, this isn’t a feature that will surprise regular Toyota buyers. However, it is still worth mentioning that the 2018 Camry has a substantial list of standard equipment. From the 7-inch infotainment screen to the heated seats, backup camera and lane departure warning, Toyota’s newest sedan has been designed from the ground-up to impress its occupants and blow away the competition.
There’s lots more to love about the 2018 Toyota Camry, but we’ve got to leave some surprises for you to experience in person.
